A little bit about the Inn

Pineapple Hill Inn has been a beloved landmark along the Delaware River since its 1790 origins — and for the past 14 years, it was lovingly stewarded by Roy Scott and Scott Stern, whose vision, warmth, and tireless dedication transformed this historic property into one of Bucks County's most cherished retreats. Roy's artful eye shaped the lush, beautiful gardens that surround the inn, Scott's culinary talent gave rise to the timeless breakfast recipes that guests return for year after year, and their innkeeper Lori brought an unwavering dedication to guest care that set the standard for everything that happens here. We are deeply grateful for everything the three of them built, and we carry it forward with the greatest respect.

In June 2026, Pineapple Hill Inn began a new chapter. Diane and Kristen — a mother-daughter team with deep roots in the region — became the inn's new owners, with Kristen stepping in as innkeeper.

Diane brings sharp business acumen and an innate gift for making people feel welcome, while Kristen brings a background spanning hospitality, private event coordination, and a genuine passion for creating experiences that feel both personal and memorable. You'll still find Roy's gardens carefully tended, Scott's beloved recipes on the breakfast table, and the same standard of attentive, gracious guest care that Lori made the hallmark of this inn.

Their vision is simple: honor everything that has made Pineapple Hill so special for so long, and thoughtfully add to a legacy already worth celebrating.

We are so glad you're here, and we hope Pineapple Hill feels like home.
